Refund Policy
At a Glance — All Sales Are Final
DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition sells digital goods and services with immediate access and instant delivery. We do not offer refunds. To leave no room for confusion, this applies to every product we sell — each one is non-refundable:
- ❌ Software licenses (24-Hour Pack, Standard, Pro) — non-refundable once activated / HWID-bound.
- ❌ Subscriptions (Monthly, Annual) — non-refundable; cancelling stops future renewals only, the current paid period is never refunded.
- ❌ Cloud Tuning tokens (online tuning service, 1 token ≈ €1) — non-refundable, no cash value, not transferable.
- ❌ Tuning Credits (in-app performance: Stage 1 / 2 / 3, Pops & Bangs, E85… — a separate product from Cloud Tuning tokens) — non-refundable once used.
- ❌ DAMOS Wallet top-ups & Official DAMOS Store files — non-refundable.
- ❌ Cloud Tuning API plans & one-time integration work — non-refundable.
- ❌ Gift / bonus tokens & credits — promotional only, no cash value, may change or end at any time, never refundable.
💶 We never refund money — not for the software or subscription plans (DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition 1.0.41), not for Cloud Tuning tokens, and not for in-app Tuning Credits. Nothing is ever refunded in cash, at any time, for any reason. Any goodwill we may choose to offer is granted only as tokens or credits on your account — never as money.
Tokens ≠ Credits. Cloud Tuning tokens (our online tuning service) and in-app Tuning Credits (desktop performance stages) are two different balances — do not confuse them. Neither is refundable. Full detail in sections 5 and 5.2 below.
🔐 Payment Security & 3D Secure Authentication
Every payment on DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition is processed by Stripe with 3D Secure (3DS / Strong Customer Authentication) requested on every transaction. When your bank supports it, you personally authenticate the payment yourself before it can complete.
- 3D Secure means you, the cardholder, personally authorize the payment with your own bank — via a one-time code, your banking app, or biometric approval — before it can complete.
- Because your bank authenticated it, any dispute claiming the charge was "unauthorized", "fraudulent", or "not made by me" is directly contradicted by that payment’s own authentication record: where 3D Secure authentication is present, it shows the cardholder personally approved the transaction.
- We retain the Stripe 3DS authentication result, IP, device fingerprint, timestamp, activation and usage logs, and your acceptance of this policy, and submit them to your bank and to Stripe as detailed evidence to contest any chargeback.
- Opening a chargeback or dispute against a validly authenticated, delivered digital product is a breach of these Terms and results in immediate permanent suspension of the account and all associated HWIDs (see Sections 1 & 2.2).
1. Strict No-Refund Policy for Used Digital Goods
DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition is a specialized, professional-grade automotive chiptuning and ECU modification software. Due to the digital nature of the software, the irrevocable generation of HWID-binded licenses, and the immediate access to proprietary algorithms and maps upon activation, all sales are strictly final and non-refundable once the software has been activated and used.
We log all software activations, ECU file processing events, and HWID (Hardware ID) bindings. If our server logs indicate that your unique HWID has been registered and that the software has been executed to process or attempt to process ECU mappings, you are explicitly disqualified from receiving a refund under any circumstances. This policy is strictly enforced to prevent software abuse, piracy, and fraudulent "use-and-refund" tactics.
2. ECU Functionality & Compatibility Variances
Modern engine control units (ECUs) are complex, and internal flash memory structures can vary significantly even among identical vehicle models depending on the software version, prior modifications, or dealership updates. DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition operates via heuristic algorithms designed to map out DPF, EGR, SCR (AdBlue), and DTC structures.
While our software supports a vast array of ECUs, we do not guarantee 100% compatibility for every single file or software version in existence. If a specific file from an esoteric or highly modified ECU version cannot be successfully patched by DaVinci, this does not constitute a valid ground for a refund. It is the responsibility of the professional tuner to manually verify the hex dumps. Unsuccessful automated patches are considered normal occurrences in this specialized industry.
⚠️ 2.1 Heavy-Duty Trucks — Beta Coverage: Verify Your ECU Before Buying (No Refund for Unverified Purchases)
DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition is designed for passenger cars and light commercial vans, with heavy-duty truck coverage in beta (expanding gradually) (e.g. Sprinter, Transit, Ducato, Vivaro, Iveco Daily, Master, Boxer, Trafic, NV200/400). The supported ECU list (publicly published at DaVinci_Deluxe_Supported_List.pdf) and our pricing page state this scope explicitly before purchase.
The following heavy-duty / commercial truck and off-highway segments are NOT supported, have never been advertised as supported, and are explicitly excluded from any refund eligibility:
- Volvo Trucks — FH, FM, FMX, FE, FL series; engines D11, D13, D16
- DAF — XF, CF, LF series; PACCAR MX-11/MX-13 engines
- Scania — R, S, G, P series; engines DC09, DC13, DC16
- MAN — TGX, TGS, TGM, TGL; engines D2066, D2676, D3876
- Iveco Stralis / S-Way / Eurocargo / Trakker (Iveco Daily LCV IS supported)
- Mercedes-Benz Actros, Antos, Arocs, Atego, Axor; engines OM471, OM473, OM457, OM936 (Mercedes Sprinter LCV IS supported)
- Cummins — X15, ISX, ISL, ISC, L9, X12, X13
- Detroit Diesel — DD13, DD15, DD16, DD5, DD8
- Caterpillar on-highway engines — C7, C9, C13, C15, C18, C32, 3406, 3408
- Agricultural & off-highway — John Deere PowerTech, New Holland Cursor, Claas, AGCO Power, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, CASE IH, Kubota industrial
- Marine diesels — Volvo Penta D-series, Yanmar industrial, MTU, Mercury MerCruiser, Cummins QSB/QSC/QSL, Caterpillar marine
No-refund policy for HD truck mistakes: Purchasing DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition to attempt work on any of the above is the customer's sole responsibility. Coverage scope is disclosed (a) on the pricing page, (b) on the checkout interstitial page, (c) on the publicly available supported list PDF, and (d) in this policy. Buying the license and afterwards discovering the truck or off-highway engine is not in the catalog does NOT constitute a valid refund ground, nor a basis for chargeback or dispute. By completing checkout you confirm you have read these disclosures and accept this exclusion.
Truck support keeps expanding with updates — re-check the supported list regularly, or ask us on WhatsApp whether your exact ECU is covered yet.
🔒 2.2 HWID Freeze on Cancellation — Multi-Account Abuse is Forbidden
Each DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition license is bound to one or more physical computers via a Hardware ID (HWID) generated by the desktop launcher (a SHA-256 hash of stable hardware and system identifiers). This binding is permanent and serves as both license enforcement and anti-piracy protection.
At the moment your subscription is cancelled (by you, by us, or via Stripe payment failure), the following automatic actions take place:
- All HWIDs currently bound to your account are copied to our frozen_hwids registry and locked to your user_id.
- You can NO LONGER remove, reset, or transfer your HWIDs from /profile or via any API endpoint.
- Any new DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition account created with the same physical computer will be blocked at login: the software will refuse to start and the new account will be flagged as multi-account abuse.
The only legitimate way to reuse a frozen HWID is to re-subscribe with your original email. Re-subscribing reactivates your previous HWID(s) automatically.
No-refund policy for HWID-freeze circumvention: Creating a second DaVinci account in an attempt to bypass the HWID freeze is considered multi-account abuse and fraud. If detected, we will (a) ban the new account, (b) freeze all HWIDs of the new account too, (c) report the fingerprint pattern to Cloudflare for edge-level blocking, and (d) refuse any refund request related to either the original or the new account, including chargeback disputes. Stripe / Cloudflare / Telegram alerts log the attempt with timestamp and IP, providing the evidence we use to contest any reverse-payment claim with your bank.
By purchasing, subscribing, or activating DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition you confirm you have read this HWID freeze policy and agree that any attempt to circumvent it forfeits your right to refund, partial refund, or chargeback. The disclosure is logged on (a) this policy page, (b) the /profile cancellation box shown before any cancel action, (c) the Stripe checkout interstitial, and (d) the refund policy at the time of purchase.
🖥️ 2.3 One Computer Per License · No Remote Desktop (RDP) · PC-Change Fee
Each DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition license is for use on one (1) physical computer that you own and operate directly. This is a core condition of every purchase and subscription.
- Remote Desktop is not permitted. The software will not run over Remote Desktop (RDP), Terminal Services, Windows Server or any remote / virtual session — it detects the remote session and refuses to start. This prevents account sharing and protects your license; it is intended behaviour, not a bug or defect.
- One PC only. Once your license is activated (HWID-bound) on a computer it is tied to that machine. You cannot use the software on a second / different computer under the same license without an authorized PC change.
- Moving to a different physical PC costs a €50 HWID-change fee (for a genuine hardware change or a new computer). Reinstalling or updating on the same machine is free — that is a false trigger and we reset it at no charge.
By purchasing, subscribing or activating DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition you confirm you have read and accept that (a) Remote Desktop / remote sessions are blocked, (b) the license is limited to one computer, and (c) a €50 fee applies to move to a different physical PC. These conditions are disclosed on this policy page and at the secure Stripe checkout, and no refund, partial refund or chargeback will be granted for a purchase where the software was used, or attempted to be used, over Remote Desktop or on a second computer without a paid HWID change.
3. Mandatory Installation Prerequisites
DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition requires a specific environment to function properly. Failure strictly adhere to these prerequisites will result in software failure, false-positive file corruption, or immediate closure. Refunds will categorically be denied if the user fails to configure their environment appropriately.

📥 1. Download the installer
Download DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition from your profile. It is a single .exe installer — there is no ZIP to extract and no password to enter.
💡 Always use the latest installer from your profile page. Older copies may fail to activate.
🚀 2. Run it as Administrator
You do not need to install anything by hand — the DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition installer (a single .exe) installs every dependency it needs automatically:
- The installer sets up everything it needs automatically — there is nothing for you to install or configure by hand.
- Right-click the installer and choose Run as administrator, then follow the prompts.
🌐 3. Sign in and activate
Open DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition, log in with your account and press Activate & Launch. A permanent internet connection is required: Cloud Edition processes your files on our servers.
4. Exceptional Circumstances — Still No Cash Refund
All sales are final and we do NOT issue refunds of money under any circumstances (NO_CASH_EVER_2026_07_17). In the rare event that a genuine, verified server-side fault on our end prevents you from activating the software (reported to our automated support within 24 hours of purchase, with zero ECU modifications logged), we make it right by fixing the problem or, at our sole discretion, granting equivalent Cloud Tuning tokens or Tuning Credits to your account so you receive the value you paid for — never a refund of money.
5. Tokens, Credits & Cloud Tuning
Tokens (Cloud Tuning credits) are bonus credits attached to a paid license. The following rules apply (REFUND_TOKEN_POLICY_2026_06_15):
- Cloud Tuning is paid for with tuning credits and tokens. Emissions and module-off jobs (DPF, EGR, AdBlue, DTC-off, Lambda, NOX, FLAPS) are free on every paid plan; performance stages (Stage 1 and Stage 1+) are paid with tuning credits. Credits and tokens are Cloud Tuning credit only: they are never redeemable for cash, are not transferable to another account, and have no standalone monetary value.
- Tokens you purchase never expire, but they carry no cash value. Once consumed on a completed Cloud Tuning job they are non-refundable.
- Tokens auto-refunded to your balance after a Cloud Tuning job that we could not process (e.g. ECU not in our recipe catalogue) are returned as Cloud Tuning credit, not as cash.
- The 24-Hour Pack (45.99 EUR) includes 24 hours of total cumulative desktop usage and full desktop access. It includes no free Cloud Tuning tokens - Cloud Tuning is a separate pay-per-use service and all Cloud Tuning tokens must be purchased. Consumed or expired gift tokens are non-refundable and have no cash equivalent.
- Monthly and Annual plans include free emissions Cloud Tuning (stages use credits) while the subscription is active. When the subscription expires, cancels or refunds, any unused Cloud Tuning capacity is forfeited; there is no refund or carry-over.
- Free promotional bonuses that we bundle with a plan at our sole discretion carry no obligation and may be added, changed, suspended or ended at any time. Removing or discontinuing such a free bonus does NOT entitle you to a refund, a partial refund or any compensation: the bonus had no separate price and formed no part of the paid product. Your plan and its core features continue exactly as purchased.
- Tokens purchased in separate token packs (550-token, 1200-token bundles, etc.) are treated identically: once consumed they are not refundable, and their bonus uplift (e.g. +10 % on 550-pack) is part of the promotional structure, not redeemable for cash.
5.1 DAMOS Wallet & Official DAMOS Store
The DAMOS Wallet is a separate prepaid balance used only to buy files from the Official DAMOS Store (our library of original DAMOS / ECU definition files). It is independent from Cloud Tuning tokens and from the Winols wallet — balances are not interchangeable. The following rules apply (DAMOS_WALLET_NO_REFUND_2026_07_08):
- DAMOS Wallet top-ups are strictly non-refundable. Credit added to the wallet is sold as a prepaid balance for immediate digital delivery and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another account, or moved to Cloud Tuning tokens or the Winols wallet.
- Every DAMOS purchase is final. Once you spend wallet credit to unlock a file it is delivered instantly and can be re-downloaded from your account at any time; the charge is non-refundable, including if the file does not match your expectation, ECU variant, or software version. Please verify the ECU / hardware / software number before buying.
- Because DAMOS / ECU definition files are digital goods delivered immediately, the statutory right of withdrawal for digital content is waived at the moment of download, in line with Section 1 of this policy.
- Unused DAMOS Wallet balance is not cashed out on account closure, subscription changes, or inactivity, and has no monetary value outside its use in the Official DAMOS Store.
5.2 Tuning Credits (Stage 1, Pops & Bangs, etc.) — Sold Separately, Non-Refundable Once Used
- Separate product. A DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition license and Tuning Credits are distinct products sold separately. Your license does not include credits and does not grant unlimited use of TUNING-tab services. Credit prices: 1 = €20, 5 = €90, 10 = €170, 20 = €300 (Monthly includes 2 free credits every month, Annual includes 4). Changing your registered PC is a one-time €50.
- Which services consume credits. All TUNING-tab performance services — Stage 1, Stage 1+, Stage 2, Stage 3, Pops & Bangs (incl. Switchable), Anti-Lag, Boost Increase, Decat, E85 Conversion, Eco Tune, Gearbox Tuning, HardCut, Launch Control, Rev Limiter Raise, Smoke Limiter Off, VMAX — consume credits. Emissions & DTC-off (MODULE tab) do not.
- Consumed on use. Each time you run a Tuning service, the corresponding credits are deducted; the credit cost is shown in the software before you run it. A credit is treated as used at the moment the tuned result is made available to you.
- Non-refundable once used. Because credits are digital goods consumed on use, used credits are non-refundable and non-reversible, and a delivered Tuning service cannot be undone — regardless of whether you later choose not to install, keep, or apply the tuned file to a vehicle. Unused credits and your license are unaffected.
- Never a cash refund; reusable if unavailable. Credits are never exchanged for money — neither used nor unused credits are refundable, and there is no card/Stripe refund for credits. If a specific Tuning service is not available for your ECU, no credits are deducted; your credits stay in your account and can be used later on another vehicle.
- Disclosure & acknowledgement. The separate, credit-based, non-refundable nature of the TUNING-tab services and the per-service credit cost are disclosed to you before purchase and before each use. By buying credits and by running a Tuning service, you expressly consent to immediate performance of a digital service and waive any right of withdrawal or refund in respect of credits that have been used, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
- Chargebacks. Because this credit model and its non-refund terms are disclosed in advance and accepted at purchase and at use, initiating a payment dispute or chargeback for credits that have been consumed is a breach of these Terms and may result in permanent suspension of the associated account, consistent with Section 1 of this policy.
6. Cloud Tuning API (B2B Integrations)
The Cloud Tuning API plans (Starter, Business, Enterprise), the one-time Integration / Complete-Website services, and the monthly Page Support add-on are sold to businesses for production integration use. The following rules apply (API_NO_REFUND_POLICY_2026_06_20):
- All API subscriptions are billed in advance and are strictly non-refundable, including partial periods, unused daily file capacity, and any time remaining after you cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals only; it does not refund the current period.
- Registered websites per plan. Each plan includes a set number of registered websites (Starter 1, Business 3, Enterprise 10), which you add and remove yourself in your profile up to that limit. The API (including signed webhooks) only delivers to your registered sites. Needing more websites than your plan allows requires upgrading to a higher plan; subscription fees remain non-refundable.
- Daily file limits are enforced per plan (Starter 100/day, Business 500/day, Enterprise unlimited). Reaching your limit is normal operation, not a fault of the service, and is not grounds for any refund — upgrade or wait until the next day.
- One-time Integration (1000€) and Complete-Website (1500€) services are done-for-you engineering work. Once work has begun they are non-refundable. The bundled 6 months of support and updates are a benefit of that one-time fee and carry no separate cash value.
- Page Support (50€/month) is a maintenance retainer billed in advance and is non-refundable for any elapsed or current month.
- If a specific ECU file cannot be processed because the requested service is not in our recipe catalogue, that individual job is rejected with a clear reason and is never charged — this is the only remedy and does not entitle you to a refund of the subscription.
7. Agreement to Terms
By purchasing, subscribing, or activating a DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition license, you confirm that you have read, understood, and unequivocally agreed to this Refund Policy and the ECU Compatibility & Feature Activation Policy. You acknowledge that you forfeit your right to dispute the charge via your bank or payment provider once the digital service has been rendered and logged.
8. Changes to Pricing, Plans & Policies
Version 1.0.41 (Cloud Edition) — optional update and PC limits. Updating to version 1.0.41 is entirely optional. When the update prompt appears you may simply press Skip and carry on using the version you already have. Licences sold from 1.0.41 onwards cover 1 PC; if you bought an earlier licence that included more PCs, you keep the PC count you purchased on the version you already use. Nobody is obliged to move to 1.0.41. If you do choose to move to it, the 1 PC limit applies from that point, and moving a licence to another PC is a one-time 50 EUR change. Because the update is optional and your purchased PC allowance is preserved on your existing version, this does not reduce the product you bought and gives rise to no refund or compensation claim.
DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition reserves the right to change its pricing, plans, token allocations, daily and usage limits, included services and policies at any time and at its sole discretion, without prior individual notice. New prices and terms apply to new purchases and to renewals from their effective date. Active lifetime licenses and the terms of an active subscription are honored as described at the time of purchase — existing subscribers keep their current renewal price until they cancel, and existing lifetime licenses keep the benefits they were sold with. Customers are responsible for reviewing these terms periodically; continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the then-current policies.
